This Sunday: The Bazaar of the Bizarre
I'll be there! Will you?
11am to 7pm, at the Pia Bouman School of Dance, 6 Noble Street (near Queen and Dufferin). Free admission, and family friendly!

This is my favourite art and craft fair of the whole year, hands down. I am never so tempted by so many wonderful, weird, totally-to-my-taste things as I am at this event.
I'll be there, in my usual spot from the last two times I've shown there, with plenty of new work -- and this time, with signed, matted, ready-to-frame colour prints of about a dozen of my original paintings!

I love the Bazaar, too, and I so want to participate one day...but I suspect it has so many amazing repeat vendors that it fills up almost immediately.
ReplyDeleteOr at least, this is why I tell myself I got turned down the one time I applied. :)
Actually, they do like to change up the vendors, and sometimes turn down regulars in favour of bringing in new people. You should definitely apply again! I know they were looking for some fresh applicants this go around.
ReplyDeleteOoooh, good to know - thanks!
ReplyDeleteAny chance you could recommend some other good selling venues for artists? I'd way rather participate in something tried and true than respond to random "art wanted" Craigslist ads...
p.s. thanks for following my blog! I squealed when I saw that. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm actually not the most in the loop on new shows that are happening (though I really need to get better about that!). This site is an incredible resource, though. And be sure to check out the forum on it as well for leads, as a lot of events make it there that don't end up on the front page feed.

And I'm quite pleased to be following you, and pleased that you're pleased! :)
Thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteI recently happened upon this site and it looks like it has potential: http://www.akimbo.ca/
